Oswego, IL – John F. Carlson, CPA, MST, is an accounting practice at 19 Jackson St. in Oswego, Illinois. Carlson is a certified public accountant with more than 30 years of accounting and tax experience. The local practice was started in 1991.
The accounting practice is limited to small business tax planning and compliance; personal income tax compliance and planning; and estate planning.

The practice is a full-time venture and not seasonal. Client relations are of the utmost importance, and close client contact is valued.
Carlson and his wife, Kalynn, provide all of the client services. This allows them to spend personal time with the clients and get to know their needs and situations. Of course, all client information is completely confidential.
Both Carlsons graduated from Northern Illinois University. John also has a Master in Taxation degree from DePaul University. The education that was received from these two excellent schools provides invaluable background to the clients.
John Carlson also attends seminars on a regular basis, as well as completing courses in areas that are important to the clients. A minimum of 40 hours of continuing education are obtained each year.
John and Kalynn are also long term residents of Oswego IL and have been involved in the community though the schools and other organizations. The firm is a member of the Oswego Chamber of Commerce, and John is a past president.
Both John and Kalynn have been active with the Christmas Walk in past years.
